About ArtWhere

We believe art belongs where people are.

Art, where you are. That's the whole idea, and the name.

Our story

A simple observation, and a simple question.

ArtWhere started with a simple observation. Hyderabad is full of talented artists whose best work rarely leaves their studios. It's also full of beautiful hotels, restaurants and cafés with walls that say very little.

Galleries do important work, but most people don't visit them, and many feel a gallery isn't for them. So we asked a simple question: why should art only live in galleries?

ArtWhere is our answer. We curate original paintings by local artists, place them in the spaces people already love, and make it easy for anyone to take one home. Artists find new audiences. Venues find new character. And people discover that owning original art is closer than they thought.

What we believe

Four beliefs behind every wall.

Art should be met, not hunted.

The best way to fall for a painting is to come across it unexpectedly.

Artists deserve the biggest share.

Our model gives 65% of every sale to the artist, and we'll keep it that way.

Curation is respect.

For the artist, the venue and the buyer. We choose carefully.

Original art shouldn't feel out of reach.

In price, or in feeling.

Our curation standard

Every painting on an ArtWhere wall has been:

  • Made by the artist named on its tag.
  • Reviewed by our team for quality and finish.
  • Matched to the venue it hangs in.
  • Photographed, documented and priced in agreement with the artist.
The team

Started in Hyderabad, by people who love this city's art.

“I kept seeing extraordinary paintings in artists' homes that nobody else would ever see, and blank walls in beautiful restaurants a few kilometres away. ArtWhere is simply the bridge between the two.”
Where we're going

One wall, one venue, one artist at a time.

We're starting in Hyderabad. Our ambition is national: a network of curated walls across India's cities, giving thousands of artists a place to be seen.
